POOL RULES
Requirements for Residents to Use the Pool
Turnberry residents (which is comprised of the 484 single-family homes in District No. 1 and 337 single-family homes in District No. 2) who desire to use the pool must meet all of the following criteria:

Complete and turn in a District Resident Information Sheet. (The responses to all questions must be answered "yes") The Information Sheet must be submitted to the District Manager.

RENTERS IN THE TURNBERRY NEIGHBORHOOD: When completing the District Resident Information Sheet, please provide a current (i.e. service date within the last 30 days) electric or gas utility bill that indicates the renters' address and name.

- Homes must not be at the fine stage for violations of the Turnberry covenants as identified by the District.

Pool privileges have not otherwise been suspended by the District.

Upon entering the pool, provide the pool monitor with one of the following acceptable forms of identification:

- Unexpired government-issued ID (i.e. drivers license, military ID, etc.)
- Student ID card valid within the last 10 months

Notices Regarding Pool Operation
- POOL FACILITIES ARE USED AT YOUR OWN RISK
- NO LIFEGAURD IS ON DUTY—SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK
- POOL MONITORS ARE NEITHER LIFEGUARDS NOR SECURITY GUARDS (They are present to simply monitor activity at the pool and verify that those using the pool have not had their pool use privileges suspended or revoked by the District Board. Pool monitors will report violations of pool rules, trespassing, and other criminal or offensive behavior to the District Board and, if deemed necessary, Commerce City Police.)
- The District, the respective property management companies, the pool maintenance company, and the company staffing the gate monitors are not responsible for any lost or stolen articles or for accidents that may occur on the premises.
Pool Use Rules
- Individuals using the pool who refuse to show a valid ID to pool monitors will be considered trespassing and the gate monitors are authorized to contact the police immediately
- Damage to the Pool, Furniture and Other Structures and Equipment: Homeowners may be fined up to $250 for damages to the pool caused by themselves and/or their gusts. In addition, such homeowners will be responsible for reimbursing the District for all costs related to repairing such damages.
- Responsibility for Guests' Actions: Turnberry residents will be responsible for the conduct and actions of their guests and children. Turnberry residents must be present in the pool area with their guests at all times. Each household may accompany up to 6 (six) guests at the pool. Additional guests require pre-approval from the District Board.
- Supervision of Children and Teenagers:

- Children, for the purpose of these rules, are defined as persons 12 years of age or younger.
- For safety reasons, children must be supervised at all times by a responsible person 18 years of age or older.
- At all times within the pool area, children 6 years of age any younger need to be accompanied within arms reach of a parent or guardian who is 18 years of age or older.
- Persons 13 to 15 years old may not bring guest unless supervised by an adult who is 18 years of age or older. Persons 16 to 17 years old may only bring 1 (one) guest to the pool and the guest must be at least 16 years of age.

- Hazards to Public Health:

- Infants and toddlers must wear a swim diaper—NO REGULAR DIAPERS
- No glass containers of any kind are allowed within the pool area
- No alcohol or tobacco products are allowed in the pool area
- While food and beverages may be consumed around the pool deck area, no food or beverages may be consumed within five feet of the pool
- No running, no diving, and no rough play
- No recreational vehicles or wheeled devices allowed inside the pool area such as bikes, skateboards, rip sticks, scooters
- Appropriate swimwear required in the pool—no street clothes or denim material allowed

- Right to Public Enjoyment of Pool:

- No public displays of affection
- No spitting, foul language or other rude behavior
- No loud radios, boom boxes, etc. No large floating devices are allowed in the pool (blow up whales, full body air mattresses, etc.)

- No pets are allowed within the pool area--regardless of whether such pets are leashed. Pets may not be tied to the fences.
Note: The District reserves the right to suspend pool use privileges of any Turnberry residents, season pass holders, their guests and their children who, while on the pool premises, violate these rules, City ordinances and/or State laws.
